LUNA IS MISSING

by Keith February 26, 2020 No Comments

We have been searching and waiting for our Luna to come back – Its been nearly three weeks now – but there is no sign of her.

She went missing on the 9th – the night after the first storm and we have been overstaying on this 24hr mooring not wanting to move – so if she is able to come back – knows where we are

However; no sign. The whole village is aware that she has been missing and everyone is looking out for her – but we must move on.

We believe that someone has found her and re-homed her. I did the long walk from Banbury to Cropredy along the towpath this morning, hoping (and not hoping) to find her – but no trace.  If she had fallen in and was not able to get out again – there would have been some sign of her by now – but nothing.

No doubt, we may get a phone call in the coming months, once whoever has her takes her to a vet for a check over and they scan her and find that she is chipped..    we can only hope.

Update: March 5th, 2020

Luna has been spotted by several people around Prescote Manor Farm. It seems that she may have re-homed herself there and is hiding out with other strays in the area.  She is being fed by the people living there, and it may be she is happy there.   Repeated attempts to find her and catch her have failed – and we havent actually seen her ourselves as yet – but we have to move on and cannot stay in Cropredy any longer.  Hopefully she will be OK and will want to come back once we are back in this area once more.

But : for now..  and until we see you again..  a few shots of our Luna during the short time she was with us and brought some special cattitude into our lives!
