Moving from the 48 hour mooring today.. did plan to make a day of moving.. but we got to the lock, found some winter moorings that are not in use (as the CRT site is stating that its 100% vacant).. and as we need to go to the Co-Op – pulled in and moored up..
Got back from the shop, figured as it was a winter mooring, its as good a spot as ever.. so said sod it.. were staying a while.
Were still above the lock, and the right side of the large weir.. so we should be OK if the weather turns and the levels change..
The boats set, there’s a shop, a post office and a pub or two.. so we could be here a while..
And, later on that evening.. this sleepy fellow floated past..
