Quick stop-over at Hurst Park – again :)

by Keith May 18, 2018 No Comments

Left Hampton Court.. and the rowdy boat behind..  which made for a fun day.. not!

Arrived at Moelsey lock – and to CC’s joy..  the lock was on self service – no lock keeper as he was checking the weir over.

Got through the lock, and pulled up to fill the water tank once more, with CC locking boats up and down – trainee lock keeper in the making!

Stopping over at Hurst Park again on the way to Walton on Thames – mainly to get to the post office, but also to check on Rob – who needed a new engine battery. With a new battery – his boats alive once more!

A slow run to Walton on Thames tomorrow..
