Time to get another day done, but not too early a start!
It’s a dryer day than yesterday thankfully – but it’s a lot windier..
First off – we need to get through Cladon flight of locks.
It took a little while, but no where near as long as last time when we were in a queue of over 10 boats trying to get down them!
CRT volunteers were also on locks 17 & 19, and with boats coming down leaving the gates open for us – it was a nice run up the flight.
From here, it’s roughly 11 miles of lock free cruising..
Past Hill Farm Glamping site.. not exactly my idea of a fun holiday.. but for some – who knows..
Not quite when this sheep went in the canal.. but unfortunately it didn’t get itself out again!
And were about 1/2 a mile from the locks at Marston Doles, and 1 mile from the Napton Flight of 7 locks.. but they can wait until tomorrow! For now.. were mooring up for the night and enjoying the view!
