Taplow/Maidenhead to Marlow

by Keith May 27, 2018 No Comments

After a lot of thundery torrential rain – went out and found that the water levels hadn’t changed that much, and constantly getting up and checking the lines was a waste! (But better to be safe I suppose!)

Set off from the £8 a day mooring ( no one came past to ask for the monies – so couldn’t pay it.. bugger! )..  got through Boulters Lock and Cookham Lock and then found that there was a sailing competition on at Bourne End..  getting through this lot tacking all over the place should be fun!

And there is not only sail boats out and about today – steam powered launches and aquacars..

But..  someone says this is the life for a boaty-cat..
