Grand Union Canal (Leicester Section)

Time to move on from Yelvertoft

by Keith September 23, 2017 No Comments

Time to move on and heading for Crick – our 14 days at the mooring between bridge 19 and 20 on the Grand Union (Leicester Section) has come to an end..   Had fun at the moorings near Yelvertoft.. Water point.. rubbish bins.. and a free car park that was close to bridge 19 – which gave us chance to get the hire van sorted whilst still having space for the car..  and a new Washing machine delivery..   Curry’s were great with that – ” delivery to a narrowboat.. no problem.. we’ve done loads of those..  as long as we can get close, we can deliver it.”

So.. South we go.. past the marina which kicked us out..  I’m sure we will give them a wave!
