Storm ALI makes an appearance – Warwick

by Keith September 19, 2018 No Comments

We moved slightly from the overnight moorings next to Tesco in Royal Leamington Spa.. to find a spot slightly outside the main town.

When we got here, it took a good 10 minutes to hammer in the spikes – with the sledge hammer – the ground was that hard!.. which I am grateful for – as with the appearance of Storm ALI the following day, they are holding firm, even with the strong winds.

Funnily enough, there are not a lot of boats on the move.. and were staying put for as long as we need to, until this weather subsides, as with these winds – I don’t fancy taking the boat out!
