Atherstone bottom lock to Atherstone

by Keith October 22, 2018 No Comments

Time to move on to somewhere close to a shop so we can get some supplies in. We may need a post office soon too, but not at the moment..  much to Anna’s annoyance!

Didn’t get chance to stop at Alvecote Priory yesterday unfortunately – but most can be seen from the canal..

A quick jaunt up 6 of the locks..  which leaves 5 more to go, but there is an Aldi and Co-Op here, so were going to hang onto the 48 hour mooring for a little while..

Plus I have work to do, so that’s a few hours moving done, time to do the bread-n-butter stuff 🙂  We will need to move again in a few days, as this is only 48 hours here, but we can put that in early one morning, and then catch up with any hours missed after that.
