Newbury, Bridge 56, 14 day mooring to Kintbury 48hr Mooring

by Keith July 26, 2021 No Comments

I’m getting a hire car in a few days, so were going to do a water run and come back to Newbury – as there is an Enterprise and a car-park here..

There is never a boat without an individual name..

After Benham lock, we collected another boat to buddy up with through the next locks. Three ex-navy gentlemen on holiday!

Eventually up through Hampstead Lock…

Past the horse drawn boat’s mooring at Kintbury..

And just about managed to get a space on the end of the mooring – mostly on the mooring, partly on the water point..  but not enough to block anyone in!  So were staying here tonight – time to pay a visit to the Dundas Arms..
