Hatton Flight to Kingswood Junction

by Keith September 23, 2018 No Comments

After oversleeping, and letting the rain go away, we set off for the Hatton Flight. It took a few hours to get up all the 21 locks, with Dawson doing most of the locks, and Celeste going one lock ahead to get it ready for us. There are some large insects around here 🙂

After getting out of the flight..  and passing through Shrewley Tunnel..  of which there is a tunnel for boats.. and one for people!

About an hour later, we reached Kingswood Junction after topping off the water tank at a water point, and giving this little fella a bit of food.

On towards Birmingham we go…

There is a post office and a shop near by, so we will stay here for a little while and get ready for next weekend..
