Woolhampton 48hr Moorings to Newbury, Bridge 56, 14 day mooring

by Keith July 20, 2021 No Comments

We needed a shop..  and I mis-read the map!  No shop!

So were moving on into Newbury – with luck, there should be mooring.  I looked at the map last night, and there is an Enterprise near by, with mooring and a car park just above the lock – that’s where I’m hoping to pull up…

It’s another hot one.. and the Swan’s are out in numbers around here!

And there is a lot of herbs for Anna…

Up through Monkey Marsh lock.. the second of the peat sided locks..

And yet another swing bridge to get round..

Eventually, we get to Newbury and find a spot roughly where we wanted to be.   And as it’s another hot one..   Whilst I don’t agree with it..    and will not be joining them..   CC and Dawson get it to cool down!
