A Soggy day in Cropredy

by Keith February 15, 2018 No Comments

What with the side winds & the weather it had to happen sooner or later…

Yes.. Whilst attempting to moor up at the service berth in Cropredy..   the side winds kept blowing the boat around and away from the birth..  by the time I eventually managed to get the centre rope..  it was not long enough.. and in I went!

Yes..  full submergence – much to the amusement of the marina staff and the crew.. and yes.. it was bloody cold!

Ah well.. that’s my cherry popped!

By the end of the day, moored up to go to the pub..  sun was out, it was a totally different day from the morning.. and the cats didn’t object!
